Orchid’s Investment Committee has considerable experience in the areas of global asset management, corporate finance and investment banking.

Clive McKee - Chairman

Clive McKee has extensive experience in global asset management and corporate finance through his previous positions with securities and fund management companies such as Yamaichi Securities, Societe Generale, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, and, Pacific Fund Management Asia. As Chairman of ASX-listed Magna Pacific from the early days (1996) until a large investment by a leading private equity fund in 2004, he built Australia's largest independent film distributor.

Julian Sandt - CEO

Mr Sandt holds an MBA from the Koblenz Business School in Germany (WHU Koblenz) and held various positions with Commerzbank in Europe and Singapore over the period 1993 to 2000. Last position held was Manager, Capital Markets and Syndications. From 2000-2004 he has been the Managing Partner of TFG Venture Capital (Asia) Pte Ltd in Singapore, then Senior Partner with Aegis Private Capital Pte Ltd in Singapore until assuming the position of CEO of Orchid Capital Ltd. in September 2005.

Richard Lambe - Finance Director / Company Secretary

Richard Lambe (CPA) has over 20 years experience in commerce and public practice. Richard's experience is drawn from: Government - the Australian Taxation Office, Public Practice including Price Waterhouse Coopers (formerly Coopers & Lybrand); and Commerce including Mount King Mining NL (now wholly owned by Sipa Resources Ltd), and Wescorp International (former subsidiary of Wesfarmers Ltd).

Alvin Tan - Non-Executive Director

Mr Tan is a Bachelor of Commerce graduate with Honours from the University of Western Australia and worked for KPMG Peat Marwick in Kuala Lumpur from 1993 to 1995. He has also worked with stockbroking house DJ Carmichael Pty Limited as an Investment Advisor, where he specialised in the Asia Pacific equity markets. He has previously served on the board of Deakin Financial Services Group Limited (formerly Pacific Rim Investment Corporation Limited) and is currently a Director of BKM Management Limited.
